Got kids? Got play dates? Looking for a healthy snack? Here’s a great smoothie recipe that everyone will enjoy. It’s perfect for when you’re having the gang over — or for saving some in the fridge for later in the day.
Summer Breeze Smoothie
3 cups plain low-fat yogurt
3 cups frozen strawberries (unsweetened)
2 ¼ cups crushed pineapple, canned in juice
3 medium bananas
3 tsp vanilla extract
12 ice cubes
For each batch, place 1 cup yogurt, 1 cup strawberries, ¾ cups crushed pineapple, 1 banana, 1 tsp vanilla extract and 4 ice cubes in a blender. Puree until smooth. Makes three batches.
